Cast your vote properly,
IT'S NOT :
- who has a better popular face
- who has more airtime on TV
- who has more budget on advertisement
- who has been giving out tidbits here and there
- who can bring superstars in their events
- who can muster massive supporters
IT'S :
- who can promise and do lower crime rate not just in statistics
- who can tick off those who shouts and incite racial tones, burns bibles, butt excise
- who can make sure there's no yearly overly pricy screwdriver like case
- who can ensure the roads are properly maintained yearly, not only full re-tarring at election year
- who can really ensure MACC/SPR/Police is fully independent regardless of the ruling government with no interference from any minister
- who can shut the mouth/punish of those bigotry/racist/sexist/stupid remarks spoken regularly by their own members not just the other members
- who can ensure illegal immigrants are kicked off from the streets FIRMLY, not being 'rewarded' with ICs, low cost homes, business license buka gerai, driving license and low cost health benefits in Gov hospitals.
My friend who also lost his blue kelisa found back his 'lover'. However, it's all in soulless form. I cringed thinking what had happened to mine looking at his photos of his found car. And yes, I'm still living in denial with hopes I can spot in on the street with everything intact, I would still take longer glance on any blue kelisa hoping I found it and able arrest/punch/nut kick the guy who took it off, so that I can grow old and die peacefully.
I still miss him.....
My friend's car found 'emptied' and repainted externally.
'The shelter in Alor Setar
runned by husband and wife, Abang Mee and Kak Tan.They are sheltering
about 400 dogs/pups and 200 cats/kittens.Everywhere you turn there are
dogs. They have saved accident dogs and street dogs.A few pups less than 2
months. These couples are jobless, abang Mee would collect scraps to
sell to feed the dogs. They are receiving fund but is not enough to feed
all the animals.Pak Mee told us he has pawned all his wife's jeweleries
to feed the animals. They have been criticized by other Muslims for
sheltering dogs. Please help them by donating rice, kibbles or medication
and etc. they need help. About 50 female dogs need spaying.' - Facebook SPCA Sungai Petani
Every animal is God's creation, unfortunately this doesn't hold true in Malaysia, recently a local lady vet who took picture with a dog was criticized by zealous netizens that she's not holding true to her religion.
I do not understand why some had skewed idea of their own religion if that particular animal is considered 'dirty' they should be condemned for elimination, abuse and abandon. Pak Mie, not just treats them back to health, he rescues them and take them to his care, this is a true one of a kind hero. Here's his blogsite and a video of his rescues. We need more kind souls like him around the world. May he and those who helped him be blessed with good deeds.
Just completed being a volunteer of a zombie on the first Zombie Run Malaysia 2013. Arrived at the Canyon Paintball park at 5am to make up and becoming zombie from wave 1 till the last wave 5. I went home at about 6pm and was already 1/2 of a real zombie due to lack of sleep plus a tiring day chasing for 'brains'.
Since it was a 'zombie outbreak', runners weren't suppose to stop for a breather in the entire game, we zombies just close in on any who stopped or was just strolling along. Some of them even begged for mercy and pleaded not to chase after them. Some tried to hide behind the crates, we just gather around the person and growled, it was a quite a funny scene for zombies and a very scary one for the runner with all the drooling bloodied faces surrounding them.

I got to agree the location was rather too small for so many people and some part of the organization was somehow not as sharp or as affordable in price per min like other big budgeted runs, if I were to put into the viewpoint of a regular running event participant, I would understand their grouses too.
Nevertheless, it was their first time organizing this run, lots of feedback for improvement has been given and I'm putting high hopes for next year with more sponsors coming in to bring down the cost of run and more goodies.
For me, it was really fun with the costumes(albeit smelly for mine), make ups and scaring the shit out of the participants. Even though most of us had minor injuries in addition to the makeup by the end of the day, it was already expected from day 1 we signed up for it and we were warned there would be injuries as runners who's scared might have some retaliation reflex, still it was the experience that's priceless. Now I have an additional stories to tell my grand children that his grandpa was an awesome dude during his days. LOL!!!
Here's the vid of the run. Look out for the chef. ;)
Felicia Zoe volunteered herself to become the head make up and taught us how to 'injured' ourselves. Kudos to her for the job well done on the visual effects and the blood/make up preparations. Here's her blog and her view of the event.
While I'm still having the zombie buzz, one of the zombie volunteers I met(......and found out he worked just right above my office) recommended some zombie board games. I did an online search and I'm in love with this. Anyone interested to play? After reading the rules, I'm more eager to play it.
